Remember several days ago when I mentioned a Post sale coming up?
Here are the details! Thanks to PYP!
Starting this Sunday, March 29th, the following Post cereals are on sale:
Honey Bunches of Oats 13-18 oz
Raisin Bran 20 oz
Shredded Wheat
Post Selects 13-16 oz
Grape Nuts 24 oz
According to the ad, the sale runs for ten days. The cereals will all be $2.07 each or $1.57 a box when you buy two. BUT....
when you buy 5 boxes you will get a $5 catalina back! Remember, catalina's are those coupons that print at the register. It is a coupon good towards your next shopping purchase.
So now you are paying .67 a box for the cereal! But wait...there are coupons too!
Post Selects Cereals, any $1/2 (4-12-09) SS-3/1
Post Trail Mix Crunch, any $2/1 printable
$1/2 Shredded wheat, Raisin bran, GrapNuts nuggets or flakes 10oz or larger
Smart Source insert in tomorrow's paper (3/29)
I let you know about this coupon several days ago so that hopefully you could print it before it disappears. Using the coupons will make the cereal even cheaper, between free to .27 a box depending on what varitey you buy.
REMEMBER: If you are planning on buying more than 5 boxes at a time, like 10, you need to do separate transactions! Only one $5 catalina will print per deal. When you buy 5 or more, you will get one catalina back. So do separate transactions to get all your catalina's! You can use them on your next purchase and get a $5 catalina on that purchase. I just did it this morning.
Yay!

Marne- this is probably silly but it is still a good deal- the NRA is offering free membership right now which is a huge savings.

this might be silly but, can we use the post trails mix coupon on any post cereal? Like grapenuts? I get nervous about not getting exactly what is directly on the coupon.
Unfortunately, no. It's only good for Post Trail Mix Crunch, just like it says on the coupon. If the coupon said "good on any post cereal" then you could, but this one doesn't.
Please remember to only use coupons for what product they are intended for. Read your coupons carefully. Each coupon will tell you what products you can use them on.
