Jen, I bet you could use a cake pan too, what ever size of pan that would fit in your freezer.Tarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13421401315692378872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-8149749302203538972009-03-13T18:27:00.000-06:002009-03-13T18:27:00.000-06:00I like to make these as gifts too. I also have to get them out of my freezer because I will often times find myself sneaking one, uh, maybe two rolls of dough, and, well, before you know it they are all gone ;)Kelliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00814491452113019942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-6401808828966910242009-03-13T15:34:00.000-06:002009-03-13T15:34:00.000-06:00You could just freeze cookie dough logs. I personally just like them already in balls but either way works great.Marnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16510374117604167816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-20538823871143125762009-03-13T13:11:00.000-06:002009-03-13T13:11:00.000-06:00I love this idea...however, I can't get a cookie s...I love this idea...however, I can't get a cookie sheet into my freezer. I have a side by side, and there is a wall next to the freezer, so with the handle to door won't open all the way. (It's fun let me tell you, but even funnier to watch). Any other ideas on how to freeze the dough? If I put it in the fridge first then would it stay hard enough in the bag? Maybe I should just bake them all!Jen Gillespiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09248071870245989244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-80568574483318303722009-03-13T12:30:00.000-06:002009-03-13T12:30:00.000-06:00It's funny how different we all are...if I bake th...It's funny how different we all are...if I bake the cookies and then freeze them, I will eat them all! I won't be able to stay out of them. I don't have a problem staying out of the cookie dough, though. It really doesn't tempt me.Marnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16510374117604167816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-4040749117130792722009-03-13T11:08:00.000-06:002009-03-13T11:08:00.000-06:00I do this (way too often) and with my sugar cookie...I do this (way too often) and with my sugar cookies, too. I make the dough, then roll it into a log, then wrap it up and freeze it. Then I cut off the dough into rounds and sprinkle sugar and cook. This is great if I need something to give someone for a treat--and it looks good.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-22390328507237708472009-03-13T10:33:00.001-06:002009-03-13T10:33:00.001-06:00I have done this before at is is dangerous! I prefer baking all the cookies and having a bag of frozen baked cookies - then they are ready for a quick treat at home or for lunches.Tiffanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10696820147402542907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2641176596814317636.post-20644889916420229932009-03-13T10:33:00.000-06:002009-03-13T10:33:00.000-06:00LOVE love love this idea! Then they're perfect for going in a lunchbox...by the time my daughter opens her lunch at school, the cookie is thawed and waiting for her. :DShanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11114223183259204143noreply@blogger.com
